Samantha has been working in the music industry throughout North America and the UK for almost two decades. Her career has focused primarily on concert promoting, working for some of the largest promoters and festivals including; Mean Fiddler (Reading & Leeds Festivals), AEG Live (Coachella Music Festival, Stagecoach Music Festival and Virgin Music Festival), House of Blues (Edgefest) and Republic Live (WayHome and Boots & Hearts) to name just a few. She brings a wide range of concert production knowledge and experience, most notably her specialized knowledge of festival legal and risk management. In addition, Sam also spent a number of years as an assistant manager at Nettwerk Management’s UK office, working for major-label and multi-platinum artists.

Crafting Respectful Live Event Workplaces

To thrive and do our best work, we all need respectful and civil environments that are free of harassment, bullying and discrimination. While occupational health and safety legislation gives a framework for compliance, some workplaces become poisoned despite their policies. This panel will bring together perspectives from the festival, music, performing arts, film and television industries to discuss how we can move forward to create healthy and productive workplaces.
